Thank you for your enquiry requesting information regarding conflict mineral content of your products manufactured on a contract basis by RBB. Click here to review our Conflict Minerals Statement.
We are aware of the new rule issued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the reporting requirements it imposes upon publicly traded companies using conflict minerals (specifically the metals tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold) in their products. Although RBB is not required to report to the SEC, we are aware that a number of our customers are required to do so and we will support you in meeting your reporting requirement.
Our role in assisting our customers is to provide the best and most up-to-date information that is available to us from our suppliers. As a contract manufacturer, RBB does not currently have direct access to information regarding where all of our suppliers procured their raw materials. Nevertheless, we are currently working with our suppliers to obtain and provide you with conflict minerals sourcing information.
We have completed the latest edition of the CFSI reporting template (CMRT Revision 5.01). Click here to review the CFSI form (Please note, for an official form, please contact me at the phone number or email below). Identified are the types of products we sell that may contain tantalum, tin, tungsten and/or gold. We confirm our commitment to require our suppliers to be DRC conflict-free. We also confirm that we are collecting conflict minerals declarations from our suppliers. A copy of our latest CFSI form is attached. We will continually update our form as we receive new and updated declarations from our suppliers.
We have considerable experience in collecting similar data such as that required under the European Union RoHS and REACH legislation. We are using similar, well-developed processes to collect conflict minerals information.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
